Diana Barge joined WeberMessick’s accounting and tax department in June 2012 to support partners and CPA’s with preparation of individual and corporate client’s income tax returns, general accounting, compilation and tax planning, providing Quickbooks assistance, payroll tax preparation and assistance, write-up work, and day-to-day interaction. Previous to WeberMessick, Ms. Barge spent two years with Christopher J. Seling and Associates, Inc. after having worked as a self-employed accountant for accounting firms and various corporate clients. Ms. Barge holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Baltimore.
Lauren Callison first joined WeberMessick’s accounting and tax department in 2013 and recently returned in November 2016 after completing her Master’s Degree in Accounting at University of Maryland, College Park. Ms. Callison assists in tax planning and preparation for businesses and individuals, as well as on any general accounting and business consulting needs. Prior to WeberMessick, she worked for CohnReznick LLP on their Private Company Services Tax Team. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in actuarial mathematics from University of Mary Washington.
Certified Public Accountant Irene Castelino joined WeberMessick’s accounting and tax department in March 2009 to assist individual and corporate clients with income tax return preparation, as well as business accounting functions, compilations, reviews, and audits. Prior to joining WeberMessick, Mrs. Castelino spent four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Tampa, Florida, where she performed financial statement audits on regional and international public and closely held companies. Mrs. Castelino spent the next three years with Alexander Thompson Arnold, PA, in Jackson, Tennessee, performing financial statement audits of community financial institutions. Mrs. Castelino then shifted into the tax arena with Baltimore-based Reznick Group, focusing in the area of low-income housing tax credits. Mrs. Castelino holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Florida and a Masters in Accounting from University of South Florida.
Certified Public Accountant, Jason Dembeck joined WeberMessick’s accounting and tax department in November 2016 to assist individual and corporate clients with income tax return preparation, as well as business accounting functions, and the preparation of compilations, reviews and audits. Prior to joining WeberMessick, Mr. Dembeck spent three years in public accounting and six years in the private sector. Mr. Dembeck holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Towson University.
Cullen Finniff joined the accounting and tax department at WeberMessick in January of 2016 as an accounting intern. At the end of his internship, he made the transition to a full-time staff accountant. Recently graduating from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting, Cullen brings fresh eyes and mind with unlimited potential to the firm. He specializes on individual income tax return preparation and income tax planning. Currently, Cullen is continuing his education in pursuit of becoming a Certified Public Accountant.
Scott Hahn joined the investment management team in 2012 and brings several years of experience in the financial services industry. As a CFP® practitioner, Mr. Hahn provides comprehensive planning solutions and wealth management strategies for business owners, professionals, and families. He assists clients with risk management, investment, retirement, education, and estate planning solutions. Mr. Hahn holds a BA in Business from Franklin and Marshall College, where he was captain of the men’s lacrosse team. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification in 2016 and he is an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Maryland. Mr. Hahn is a Registered Representative with Kestra Investment Services and Investment Advisor Services with Kestra Advisory Services.
Michael Kimmel joined WeberMessick’s accounting and tax department in August of 2016 as a Staff Accountant. Mr. Kimmel has previously worked in management and customer relations positions in the automotive and banking industries. Currently, he is completing a Bachelor of Science in business management from DeVry University.
Justin Letke came aboard WeberMessick at the beginning of 2015 as Director of Operations. He has over 10 years of management experience, holding positions from store manager, to area trainer, to regional director. At any level, Justin believes in building a team of talented people, providing ongoing training and development and ensuring operational excellence. He is focused on improving systems and processes to help increase accuracy and efficiency, in turn enhancing productivity as well as strengthening the relationships with all WeberMessick clients. Bettering the firm’s infrastructure and operational compliance as we grow will allow for the continued quality product and client first mentality that we are known for at WeberMessick.
Certified Public Accountant David Manning joined WeberMessick’s accounting and tax department in January 2013 to assist individual and corporate clients with income tax return preparation, as well as business accounting functions, compilations, reviews, and audits. In 1981, he became a Certified Public Accountant and joined a national accounting firm where he performed financial statement audits on regional and international public and closely held companies. His experience in the private sector focused on higher education financing with the State of Maryland, non-profits and for profit closely held companies. He currently volunteers with several non-profit associations offering accounting and business management support. Mr. Manning holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Northern Michigan University.
Arden Mason joined the team in June 2016 as our Business Development Coordinator after graduating from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and marketing. She gained her experience in marketing and project management while interning with the corporate marketing department at Phillips Seafood and Restaurants. With years of experience in sales and networking, her focus for WeberMessick is ensuring both a cohesive and synergized team, and advocating an environment conducive to growth and productivity.
Kyle Richards is a CPA with over 19 years of experience in public and corporate accounting; in that, he developed a broad array of experience in corporate, partnership, personal and non-profit tax preparation; audits, compilations, and reviews. As a CFO for over 5 years in the commercial and heavy construction industries, he earned a notable reputation for high integrity and conservative financial governance. Kyle joined the WeberMessick team in September 2016 to help run our outsourced accounting business and to contribute to internal tax and accounting services.
Mary Stone joined the WeberMessick team in January 2017 as an Administrative Assistant. Mary comes to WeberMessick with a wide variety of customer service experience including almost 20 years as a Help Desk Manager. Starting at MedStar Health, Mary provided support Help Desk Support for nine major hospitals and dozens of doctors’ offices. After leaving MedStar, she supported vocational schools for Education Affiliates and most recently Notre Dame of Maryland University. Prior to her management experience, Mary worked for Nationwide Insurance as their Receptionist/Admin Assistant for several years. She also holds two Associate of Arts degrees from Delaware Technical and Community College in Office Systems Technology and Executive Secretarial.
Bernadette brings several years of accounting and customer support to her role as Office Manager at WeberMessick. Starting out at a small accounting firm located in downtown Baltimore in 1988, she quickly gained responsibilities as a full-charge bookkeeper while managing several accounts receivable ledgers for large property management companies.
After the birth of her third child in 2002, she took a leave of absence from day to day accounting, but kept active as the bookkeeper for a family owned business. During the same time she also managed the accounts payable and accounts receivable for a small construction company and a veterinary business. Bernadette is happy to be with WeberMessick since the beginning of 2014.
